My name is Hanli and I have scoliosis and have been treated by Dr Koos Louw since I was 6 years old. I used to wear a brace, but since then my scoliosis had deteriorated. On 01 July 2010, I had scoliosis repair surgery at the Pretoria East Hospital. The operation lasted about 5 hours.

Hi, me again!!! thanks Renate for the comment! It's going good with us, and how are you doing? Is there soccer fever in Canada too? I'd love to know. South Africa beat France 2-1 yesterday, Pity that the third goal from SA was disallowed or we would have bumped Mexico off. Well done Bafana! You did your country proud!!!!!!!!!!!

    Canada is Soccer Crazy too! Every car has a flag on it. I did not watch the game between France and SA...I was teaching a spin class. I hear it was a great game...really sad that they did not go through to the semi final.

    I was watching "So you think You can Dance"-American edition last night...have a look on YouTube....there was a guy who performed last night, he has Scoliosis too. He dances pretty cool...have a look...really inspirational.

    When are you going to the hospital? How long will you be in the hospital? Send my love to Johann and Cecelia! We pray that everything will go great! Thinking of you!
