My name is Hanli and I have scoliosis and have been treated by Dr Koos Louw since I was 6 years old. I used to wear a brace, but since then my scoliosis had deteriorated. On 01 July 2010, I had scoliosis repair surgery at the Pretoria East Hospital. The operation lasted about 5 hours.

DAY 2 - Saturday 03 July 2010

Hanli has been moved out of the ICU by 12h00 to the Surgical Ward 2 of the Pretoria East Hospital.  It is great to have a TV to watch and take your mind elsewhere.  Maretha, the physio came to help Hanli do her daily exercises.  There are special pumps on her calves to help circulate blood.
